About The Art Market Podcast
The global art market is one of the most fascinating, seductive, illogical, sometimes frustrating, controversial, opaque, wonderful industries there is.
And it is certainly one of the least understood, not least because people are rarely straightforward about how it actually works and what happens behind closed doors.
Each week, Georgina Adam and Tom Forwood take you inside the auctions, the galleries, the fairs and the collectors, looking at the money and power that move it all.
They question what is behind the headlines, give you a peak behind the scenes, report from art markets around the world, from Latvia to Uzbekistan to Belgium, and along the way are joined by some of the sharpest minds in the biz.
Whether you’re a collector, a professional, or simply curious about what’s really going on, subscribe for a clear-eyed weekly look at the global art market - its players, its patterns, and its hidden dynamics.
